AWS celebrates 150 Year Anniversary

Together with our employees we are proud to announce that this year we are celebrating our 150 year anniversary. 150 years - a very long time of existence that fills us with pride and joy.

Located in Ennepetal since 1873, we are proud to remain a piece of this city until today. For 5 generations we have been shaping the companies existence which is why we consider this year an absolute milestone of our company’s  history.

Over the course of time we have managed to sustain and expand the business, always committing to tradition while facing numerous challenges in the past, present and future. The last 150 years were characterized by many successes, but also deep blows. Preserverance and the desire to prevail were the main characteristics to help overcoming tough times while technical Know-How and a high degree of customer orientation remain key components of A.W. Schumacher’s philosophy when meeting the huge challenges of our time: sustainability and conitinuous innvotaion.

AWs’s long-lasting business relationships, its emphasis on social responsibilty towards  employees and the deep solidarity to our local region have made AWS a resilient mid-sized company whose primary focus is not only to maximise profits, but also to invest in sustainable growth for generations to come.
